AWESOME VIDEO FROM LAST TERM: SPCA VISIT

As we couldn't share this video last term because we hadn't figured out that we needed to reduce the file size then upload it. Now that we have figured it out we will be sharing lots of cool videos....This one is of the visit by the SPCA last term. We thought the rats were super cool and most of us had a go at touching them even though we were scared. The boys were really brave though. We learned how to care for our pets just as our parents take care of us. Motat 2

More on the trip to Motat. We rode an old tram that the museum got from Melbourne. We saw the evolution of the TV and some gaming machines that had some parents thinking of the good old days. Some cars were older than the parents and teachers!!! We really enjoyed learning about steam engines and going into the challenge zone too was great fun as we tried out all that was in it some weired and wonderful some simply funny {mirrors} other things simply amazing and magical  {magnetic or electric fleas}!

MOTAT TRIP 1

LZ5, 4 AND 6 WENT TO MOTAT. WE SAW LOTS OF OLD CARS, TRAMS, STEAM ENGINES, BUSES, TRUCKS, TV's and SO MUCH MORE.
WE EXPERIMENTED WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF SIMPLE MACHINES LIKE THE PULLEY, WHEEL & AXLE, RAMP, LEVER, SPRING, SCREW. WHAT FUN WE HAD WITH THE EDUCATOR ANNE...THANK YOU TO THE PARENTS WHO CAME ALONG WITH US..........

Welcome all to Term 2. LZ 5 had a great start to the term. We recapped on some of the things we did last term and we revisited our routines and the Learning Framework.

On Monday we read a big book called "A GOOD IDEA" by Bill Nagekerke, we then decided to research about different animals, share what we found interesting and wrote a report about the animals. Here are some reports we did: We think they are amazing!
