THE BEST TEDDY BEAR PICNIC EVER!!!
"We had fun in the hall on Tuesday 20th September. We first made yummy sandwiches in class, then we took our picnic food to the hall. Chloe's nan made the most delicious cup cakes for us and we really enjoyed them. Madi, Mila and Myah brought some blankets for us to sit on. The blankets had teddy bears on them. When we were eating, we watched a movie about bears going on a picnic. It was exciting, fun, noisy but nice and that was the best day ever" (Words said by Jason, Andy, Karishma, Madison, Chloe, Dylan and Renee )

MHP's Junior dance group: "BABY"
Students from LZ5,LZ6 as well as two from LZ3 & LZ4 took part in this years dance festival....What amazing talented dancers the girls are. We had a great time thinking of dance moves and putting them together. The whole school is proud of you girls.

HOWICK HISTORICAL VILLAGE TRIP
SETTING THE SCENE:
What an awesome experience it was to visit Howick Historical Village. We all enjoyed playing games that were played long ago, like graces, stilt walking and many more. Here are some photos that show the fun we had.

FROGS FROGS FROGS
FROGS FROGS FROGS

We read the big book Zoom Zap and then looked at frogs and read some facts which we shared in groups.Then we sketched our own frogs, painted them, outlined the frogs with black vivids. Next we cut them out, painted backgrounds, we also drew and coloured some lily pads and Finally the wonderful Mrs McGrath (Ashton's mum who comes in on a Thursday morning) and Mrs Lee (Our super Learning assistant) and Mrs Nyahore helped LZ5 put everything together 3D style It took us two weeks to finish our paintings!! They were worth the work...We also enjoyed looking at some frog animations.
We looked at all sorts of frogs. We want to watch the Muppet series
next as they are true classic and they have Kermit the frog.

Motat 2
More on the trip to Motat. We rode an old tram that the museum got from Melbourne. We saw the evolution of the TV and some gaming machines that had some parents thinking of the good old days. Some cars were older than the parents and teachers!!! We really enjoyed learning about steam engines and going into the challenge zone too was great fun as we tried out all that was in it some weired and wonderful some simply funny {mirrors} other things simply amazing and magical {magnetic or electric fleas}!
